Our women in fitness series is a celebration of fly girls doing fly things. Meet Funmi – a PT and fitness instructor who wants to help mums achieve their fitness goals and become #strongforeveryday.

I’ve been into fitness for a number of years and have spoken about it passionately to anyone who would listen! When I had my daughter, I wanted a career that I could fit around her, work for myself and be able to help others. I I was frustrated with the lack of information, at the time, for women pre and postnatal, and this really motivated me to focus on mums.

I was also frustrated with the amount of “snap backs” on social media giving women an unrealistic expectation of their bodies post pregnancy. I know myself how hard it has been for me and want use my platform to show women what realistic post pregnancy fitness looks like.

I’m launching my brand “Strong for Everyday”, which will be a membership site for women to access various resources relating to pre and postnatal health such as workout videos, articles on mindset and exercise, recipes and much more. I’ll also be delving more into online coaching for mums who want more of a 1-1 working relationship to keep them on track and accountable.
