Remember when veganism was such a novelty? But you only have to peruse the shopping aisles or Deliveroo to see that nowadays, the vegan lifestyle is more accessible than ever. And it helps that there are plenty of trailblazers to follow, like Tomi Makanjuola, The Vegan Nigerian.

The award-winning vegan chef, writer and content creator has championed the V-life since launching her blog in 2013. A decade later, she’s the author of Vegan Nigerian Kitchen, a cookbook featuring classic Nigerian recipes reimagined through a plant-based lens. In this episode, Tomi shares what inspired her to adopt veganism and her mission to help more people explore the lifestyle.
